Getting Started
How do I create an account?
- Download the NgombeOS app from your device's app store
- Click "Sign Up" and enter your phone number
- Verify your number with the SMS code
- Complete your farm profile
- Start adding your herd
How do I add my first cow?
- Go to the Herd section
- Click "Add Animal"
- Enter the cow's ID/tag number
- Add details: breed, birth date, parentage
- Upload a photo (optional but recommended)
- Save the record
Can I use NgombeOS offline?
Yes! NgombeOS works offline for core functions:
- Recording health events
- Tracking milk production
- Viewing herd data
Data syncs automatically when you're back online.
Troubleshooting
The app is running slowly
- Check your internet connection
- Close unused apps
- Update to the latest version
- Restart your device
Data not syncing
- Ensure you have a stable internet connection
- Check that you have sufficient storage space
- Verify your subscription is active
- Try logging out and back in
SMS codes not arriving
- Check that your phone has cellular signal
- Wait 60 seconds and try again
- Ensure you're not on a DND (Do Not Disturb) list

Data & Privacy
Who can see my farm data?
Your data is private by default. Only you and authorized team members can view your farm information. We never sell or share your data with third parties.
Can I export my data?
Yes! Go to Settings > Export Data to download your records in CSV or PDF format.
